DLSC is a member managed pool and doesn’t outsource to a pool management company. That choice allows us to employ people who care about our community. Every summer, we hire over 100 employees, the majority of whom are young people from our own community who learn how to develop a strong work ethic while building lifelong relationships. We have jobs for anyone 14 or over who is looking for a great work environment.

What's Expected of Our Staff

As an employee of Dunn Loring Swim Club, all staff are required to;

  • Promote safety for all members and staff at all times.
  • Read and follow the Dunn Loring Swim Club Employee Handbook;
  • Follow directions of the Manager and Supervisor;
  • Be on time for your scheduled shift;
  • Use the Homebase app for scheduling/requesting time off;
  • Have a direct deposit account;
  • Interact with all members and staff in a professional and courteous manner;
  • Wear the approved Dunn Loring Swim Club attire;
  • Agree to drug testing if requested;

Virginia prohibits employing minors under the age of 14 and requires Employment Certificates to be issued to all minors under the age of 16.

 

I love working outside and enjoy getting to know people in a new community. I enjoy helping make DL a fun and relaxing place to be.
